Question
How can I increase the shelf life of cooking wine? It seems as if it I don't do anything it goes bad after a couple of days.
Answer
The easiest way is to freeze it in something like an ice cube tray. Wine is low enough in alcohol content that it will freeze quickly and this should help to ensure the taste stays in place for a much longer period of time (although note that it can absorb smells from your freezer, so perhaps position it away from that salmon you have stored).
