Indiana Dry Rub

Who knew they made dry rub in Indiana.. and, it's pretty good!


  • 2 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1/2 - 1 teaspoon cayenne


Combine the spices and herbs in a bowl and mix well. If storing use an air tight container (it should store safely for 4-6 months). It can also be stored in the freezer if placed in a freezer bag (be sure to remove as much oxygen from the bag as possible).
